Our Cabins


Some call them cabins. Some call them cottages.

Either way they are exceptionally clean full housekeeping units. Renovated and modernized, each unit is complete including bathroom with shower, well-equipped kitchen, full size refrigerator, 4-burner gas range with oven, and microwave. Pots, pans, utensils, dishes, silverware, toaster and drip coffeemaker complete the setup. We also supply dish soap and coffee pot filters.

Linens for kitchen, bed, and bath; satellite color TV with HBO; and free wireless internet add comfort to your stay. Some units have sofa sleepers. Our larger units have comfortable living room chairs.

The outside of your vacation home features a cement patio with picnic table, a Weber BBQ kettle, and lawn chairs. For your comfort, all units are air conditioned and heated. Our studio cabin sleeps 3, our one bedroom cabins sleep up to 5, and our two bedroom cabins sleep 9 persons.

A dock stall for your boat is included free with each cabin rental. All you need to bring is some grub, some bath accessories, some fishing gear, your beach towels, and maybe some paper towels.

Two Bedroom Cabins

Our generously equipped two bedroom cabins offer all of the extra features Hand Cove Resort is known for including Watchable Wildlife through our extra large windows, but ya got to get up early. Ample dishes, cookware, and linens are part of our standard cabin setup. The two bedroom cabins sleep up to 9 guests.

Our well equipped one bedroom cabins feature very large windows for that panoramic view of our dock, cove, and Hand Park. Picture yourself having morning coffee while you watch your boat gently safely moored in our dock. If you're an early riser, there's plenty of watchable wildlife, no extra charge.

One-Plus Bedroom Cabin

Bigger than a one bedroom, not quite a two bedroom, our nicely equipped one-plus cabin accommodates a family of 5. It's also perfect for up to 3 fishing buddies. The two semi-private sleeping areas give everyone the space they need for a memorable trip to the lake.

Studio Cabin

Equipped and set up as our larger cabins, our studio is ideal for the couple wanting some lake time at a value rate. It's pillow top queen bed is perfect to flop on after a hard day on the lake. The twin sofa sleeper accommodates a small child comfortably. We call this our grandparents cabin. When the big family groups arrive, Grandma and Grandpa love to escape into their own little space for some peace and quiet. After all, ya know pawpaw needs his nap.

Cabin 56

For the feel and functionality of a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin, combine our two duplex cabins for extra space, convenience, attached by a common porch, all under one roof. Our one-plus bedroom and studio provides you with 2 baths, 2 TVs each with their own viewing area, and beds for 8 people. Two kitchens means you have 2 refrigerators, 2 stoves, 2 microwaves and double the dinnerware and cooking tools. A great value for an extended family vacation.

More Cabin Details

  • Rate includes one dock boat stall.
  • All cabin rates are for 2 people.
  • Memorial Day and Labor Day stays must include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Fourth of July stays must be for a full week.
  • Guests having day visitors will be charged $5 per person per day for use of our facilities and must register at time of arrival.
  • Check-in time is between 3pm and 5pm. Check-out time is 10am. Please call for after hours arrangements.

PLEASE READ - THESE ARE OUR DEPOSIT AND DEPOSIT REFUND TERMS
Our business depends completely on advance reservations. If you find it necessary to cancel your reservation, your deposit will be eligible for refund if your cancellation is received prior to your planned arrival date, you provide your Confirmation Number, and your reserved cabin/RV site(s) is re-rented for the same nights you reserved, less a $50 cancellation fee. To preserve your deposit, we will consider your request to reschedule your stay if your dates fall within the same calendar year.
